This Privacy Policy explains how Leafrunner Technologies, Inc. collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use LIT College.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your UMN email, display name, username, profile details, interests, classes, posts, chats, uploaded media, and other content you submit in the product.
We also collect product usage and operational data, which may include event RSVPs, need offers, chat activity, session events, analytics events, moderation records, and device or browser data needed to operate and secure the service.
2. Location information
LIT College may use precise or approximate location information to place your live location or your posted plans on the map. When you create a plan, the product may derive the map pin from the address you enter, your live location, or a manual pin override. Precise location fields are treated as sensitive application data.

- Operate the product and provide core features
- Place map-visible posts and live activity correctly
- Support matching, requests, event groups, and chat flows
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and enforce product rules
- Measure pilot usage and improve reliability and product quality
4. How information is stored and protected
Traffic is intended to be served over HTTPS in production. Sensitive application fields, including exact coordinates and chat bodies, may be encrypted at rest within the application. Access to production secrets and storage should be limited to authorized personnel and service providers.
5. How information is shared
Some information is visible to other users by design, including your display name, profile information you choose to show, map-visible posts, offers, and chat participation. We may also share information with infrastructure and service providers that host, store, or process data on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our agreements.
6. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the product, support the pilot, resolve disputes, maintain security records, and comply with legal obligations. Some expired or inactive records may be deleted or archived on a rolling basis.
7. Your choices
You can control some profile visibility and map visibility settings in the product. You can stop using the product at any time. If you want information deleted or corrected, use the support or contact method made available by Leafrunner Technologies.
8. Minors
LIT College is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can review and remove the data if appropriate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we may update the effective date, post the revised policy in the product, or provide another reasonable notice method.
